Food for food lovers this Valentine’s

There’s no avoiding Valentine’s Day, unfortunately. So we’re giving you the chance to get together with someone else who loves food as much as you do and try some of our favourite dishes and ingredients.
Our Food Lovers’ Menu is being served from Weds 14 to Sat 17 February, after dark, from 5pm each day.
It’s a simple menu with some of our favourite things; including Red Velvet King Prawns, Grilled Sea Bass with a brilliant chorizo mash, and brilliantly melting Chocolate Fondant. There’s even a sharing option for a starter and dessert, if you really don’t mind leaning in across the table with your dining partner.

Red Velvet Prawn – £7.25
King Prawn coated in a beetroot crumb served with an oriental quinoa salad
Chargrilled Asparagus – £6.95
Topped with a poached egg, dressed with shaved parmesan & truffle oil
Baked Camembert to share – £8.50
Served with red onion chutney inside a freshly baked walnut loaf
Roasted Chicken & Ham terrine – £6.95
Homemade and served on pickled vegetables with toasted sourdough

Steak Diane – £19.95
8 oz Sirloin cooked to your liking, served with roasted potatoes & tender stem broccoli
Grilled Sea bass – £15.95
Served with homemade chorizo mash potato & Salsa Verde
Chicken Ballotine – £13.95
Stuffed with pork, herbs & pistachio, served with fondant potatoes, carrots & tarragon cream sauce.
Mushroom & Cashew Wellington – £10.95
Puff pastry filled with Portobello mushroom & nuts dressed with wholegrain mustard gravy
DESSERTS
Chocolate fondant – £5.95
Homemade melting middle chocolate pudding served with honeycomb ice cream
Strawberry shortcake – £5.95
Homemade shortcake layered with fresh cream & strawberries
Apple Tarte Tatin to share – £8.95
Homemade warm apple tart served upside down with cream or ice cream
